We are open to the public on the last sunday of every month. The gates open at 10:30am and the guided tour starts at 11:00am. A donation of R20-00 per person is asked upon entry and refreshments, t-shirts and diaries are sold before and after the tour. Please support CROW and join us. Gain an insight into the world of wildlife rehabilitation in one of the biggest centres of its kind in South Africa.

Without Education there can be no Conservation.

An increasing amount of time is being spent on the Educational aspects of Wildlife Conservation, and CROW has developed a program which is informative, fun and encourages interaction with the students. A variety of programs exist, to cater for various age groups, and our Educational Officers will make sure that when you visit, the content of the day is age-appropriate. Children are introduced to CROW and what it stands for, and then, depending on the size of the group, they are taken on a guided tour before spending time in the Educational Centre learning about skulls and bones and teeth. Worksheets are used here and children are encouraged to participate and document what they have learned.

The Educational Centre has a Board of Fame on which we like to keep letters and drawings from the children who have visited.

Should your school be interested in visiting CROW, please do not hesitate to contact Charelle Mc Allistair on 031 462 1127 or at info@crowkzn.co.za to make a booking. School tours are 2 - 3 hours hours long, starting at 9.30am, and are run from Monday to Friday, for a maximum of 80. The cost is R20 per student, and you are asked to bring along a snack and something to drink as there will be a tea break.
